*Question for Wal-Mart cashiers only*

Question

with the Wal-Mart cash register system, can a cashier put an order on hold and take the next customers and return to the held customer later? I'm talking about situations like price checks where they have long lines but want to keep taking customers.

I worked at Raley's Food & Drug, and we had a system like that, but when the person in front of me at wal-mart needed to run to see how much something was, I asked the cashier to hold the order and she said she couldn't, and I just couldn't believe the way she said it.

You need to alert the store manager and/or call 1-800-walmart. NO CASHIER should treat you badly for a suggestion like that!!! I apologise! Goodness!
