I have a 1994 Ford F 150 XL. At the time being, it has manual windows and door locks. I want to put power windows and power door locks in it, and was wondering how involved it would be. I noticed on the fuse panel it has a location for power windows and door locks so I'm wondering if the fuse panel is already wired in for them? I know that it would be costly, just wondering how much so. It is a standard cab, standard box, 4 x 4 with a 302 v8.

  1. besides all the cost. You have to fit a motor for your window. And motores for your door locks. Its just getting your panel off the door removing the manual window pulley and putting a motor their. wiring is a different story.

if the wire are their in the door already you should be fine.

if you have to wire it to your fuse panel it will be more difficult.

  2. This exact question was resolved on here a week or so ago. Go to wrecker and find two rusted out or damaged doors along with the wiring harness and swap it in. It all bolts up.
