I haven't been in any films/television but I do take acting classes and I have a vocal coach but would this be enough to get a role (if I was good of course). I was reading over the page for Camp Rock 2 auditions and it says you must send in a resume but since I have no REAL acting experience there would be nothing for me to put on my resume. Do you see where I'm going with this?

  1. those classes are considered experiance so you should put those on your resume. and i was wondering where you found this information about the Camp Rock 2 auditions?

  2. Yes. Your resume doesnt have to say you have experience. You take classes and lessons which is experience. They arnt going to look for someone who's already famous so go for it. Maybe to stand out you should record yourself and send that in too.

You will get noticed alot faster if you do things to stand out.

  3. Dakoda,

An actor's resume consists of several sections which are: experience (film/ TV/ Theatre), Training, and Skills. (And of course the heading with you name, contact info, measurements, vocal range, and union status).

As you've been training you can fill up that section.  Don't forget the "special skills" section which is where you can list all of the skills you can perform well- list languages you speak, accents you can do, sports and musical instruments you play, if you can roller blade, ride a bike, etc.

    Good luck!
