Question for all of you freshmen?

Did ANY of you have a good experience your first day(s) of high school?

It seems like everyone here is complaining about how depressing it is.

I know you are away from your old pals and everything, but is there ANYTHING postitive at the new place?

If you are optimistic, or had a great first day, pls answer~

yes i had a AWESOME first day of school i mean everyone that i know did also and i know the rest of the days of school will be just as good!!!!

my first day sucked. but on the second day it was like everything changed. i really hope it will be that way for the rest of the year

I'm a junior, but my first days kinda suck. I don't like the people in my class, and all my friends have a different lunch period.

Im not gonna lie,my first day was a bit rocky but every single freshmens first day is just a little confusing and frustrating.

but besides that day my years been going so smooth and it's easy and I love it.Much better then middle school.Im already 3 weeks into school! just a few days ago felt as if it was the first!

but 6 more weeks and the grading periods over :)

I mean overall my first day of high school was pretty good. I mean it was really tons of funn!!! But just one thing happened to me on the first day of my freshman year that totally ruined everything. The high school is unbelievably big and confusing, so i kind of misunderstood my timetable and walked into a grade 10 class without even realizing it. I went and sat down in the class thinking the whole time that it was a grade 9 class, (oh yeah, and the teacher gave me a lecture about why i was so late) Anyways the teacher took attendance and my name was not on it, and i was like "Wait is this period 4 or 5?" and the teacher was like  'this period 4" and im like "Opps, im not supposed to be here." and i walked out of the room, everyone laughed. But thank goodness i was not the only freshman in the sophomore class, some other dude followed my lead. It was really embarassing but now i just laugh at it.

chyeah. high schools easy. dont get 2 excited tho u get some big-*** assignments and homework and stuff. but yer first day is easy as.

back when i was a freshman umm i think 5 years ago it was all good..high school was the best years of my life..

I had a really good day today.I thought that the upperclass would be mean but they were really nice.My teachers were really nice and funny too and I didn't have any homework.

yes. i loved it! like i liked how it wasn't just the same people like always. and i loved how much freedom they gave us. it was like i was just let out of jail. and i liked walking in the halls for some weird reason. usually in middle school the halls are so dead, but not in high school. and the variety of people is amazing. also i like how we're not being babied anymore, like we HAVE to be responsible for once. i feel so much more older now, its awesome :D

Yeah I had a good first day last year. My dad's a Colonel in the USAF so we've always been moving and starting new schools. At least last year everyone was in the same boat as me. Last year was back in Tampa Bay this year is Ohio so it's starting all over again.

I loved my first day in Tampa. I made loads of new friends immediately and had great lessons and teachers.

This year my teachers were meaner but not a lot. I made friends quickly again though. A girl spoke to me in homeroom and we became quick friends. After that she introduced me to all her friends and now I'm doing great!

I didn't have good day but i had just moved to my school and didn't know anything (i go to a junior high so freshman are with the eighth and seventh graders, so everyone had their cliques and stuff) I couldn't find the cafeteria so i didn't eat lunch.  Everyone expected me to know things about last year (they don't get a lot of new kids here) but i expected it and the second day was great! I knew my way to the cafeteria, i met some people. And being a freshman has been fun so far!

i LOVED my first day it was so much fun and it wasn't at all depressing even though there weren't many kids from my school because most of them went to the other high school but i loved it and i haven't had one bad day so far even though its only been like a little over a week as a freshmen.

I had a great first day and I'm still having a great time. I got to reunite with all my friends, meet some new people, and meet all the teachers. Nothing was really bad at all. My only disappointment is that my BF and I don't have a lot of classes together, but I'll get over it!

Yea, I actually had a pretty good day. My teachers are all very nice and funny, and I didn't get any homework. ( A lot of kids at my school did.)

I think this is a great start to a great year.

I had a good first day. I dont have friends in all my classes but thats ok.  I got lost a few times because my school is HUGE but ill figure that out also.  I had a pretty good time.

I had my first day today, and I just didn't like the fact that my friends weren't in some of my classes, but oh well, I'll make new ones I guess.
