  1. Depends on where you are from and what appeals to you.

Don't go the the USA. While the States are the world's melting pot, this basically means that they try to assimilate different cultures. Their de facto official language is English, although there is a large majority of Hispanic people. Plus, at the moment, there is a subtle fear of anyone there who is not a born American - which makes it unpleasant to travel (customs, border checks, airplane).

    Canada's advantages are:

    A) Its multiculturalism. Most universities have about a quarter of students who were not born in Canada (international and dual citizens). Its also an officially bilingual (French, English) country.

    B) Affordability - there is a lot of space for housing, and so your lodging costs less than it would in the UK (don't know about the States)

    C) Easy to get along with - a bit of a stereotype here, but its true. Canadians are (overall) very polite and respectful.

    Disadvantages:

    A) There aren't many big cities (main ones are Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, Montreal, Ste Foy, Vancouver) so if you pick a smaller city there's not much to do, and it could be VERY far from another bigger city

    B) Travel. As I've mentioned, the country is large, and the population is concentrated in small spots, pretty far apart. So if you want to go visit a friend a few provinces away, it's going to be a long trip (by car) and/or quite expensive.

    UK - Advantages

    A) The great thing about studying here is that you're in Europe, so it's really easy to leave and visit other countries whenever you want.

    B) Very multicultural

    C) Several internationally reknowned universities - but then those will be expensive and hard to get into.

    Disadvantages:

    A) Expense. Like I said above, the really good universities will cost a fortune

    B) Housing - more cramped and expensive

So there you go. That's what I know about the three... hopefully we'll get some British person who can tell you about the UK in more detail, that way you'll get the Point-Of-View from the three countries.

  2. THE USA!!!! the US is so diverse and there are somemany different cultures there. it is the worlds melting pot. u will be so glad u went there

  3. The first answer is rubbish. All three countries are diverse, and I've heard many say that immigrants and minorities are more integrated in the UK and Canada than in the US. The UK and Canada run a lot of PSAs about why employers should hire immigrants, a subject that's pretty much taboo in the USA. There are parts in all three countries that are very rural and not very diverse at all, though.

It's always great to get out of the country you're in and experience life somewhere else on the globe. The US is pretty much the dominant culture in the West, so I would want to go somewhere different.
