  1. I ride because I always have. I have been doing it from my earliest memories. It is part of my being.

  2. its all about the twisties for me, dragging knees is an amazing feeling

  3. FRREEEEEEDDOOMMMM!!!!!!

Its a great stress reliever.  People are different when they are on a motorcycle, they're nicer.  And being able to do the occasional track day at Willow Springs raceway is fun too.

  4. I love the smell of the open air

I love to look down at the road rushing past me

I love to feel the bike, making the bike part of my body

I love the thrill and excitement of quick acceleration, leaning over the curves as fast as I dare to the point of being scared.

I don't ride a bike to save money on gas, but saving money is a plus.

  5. Freedom baby

"Im a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride"

  6. I rode when I was younger and then took time out to raise three kids and make a little comfort for my later years. I survived a crisis back in 2003 (near death) and after a little time recovering my wife and I decided to try to enjoy what was left of life. I lost a daughter three years ago and that just put the icing on the cake. We started going places and doing things we always just talked about. I decided this year to start back riding and she has been very supportive. She is even entertaining the idea of riding herself within a year. I am actively looking for her a used bike right now but the choices are limited because she is like most every other female I see here. "short". She needs about 24" seat height and I need a fair price.

  7. I ride for the "open wheel" feeling.  I used to ride for the speed.  But now I don't care if I ride a scooter (slow) or a real motorcycle (fast).  I just like the feel of riding.

Of course the good MPG doesn't hurt the riding experience.

    good Luck...

  8. 1 i like it

2 because i can ride it

3 when your hobby is riding good gas milage or not you are burning gas you wouldn't burn if you were doing something else

  9. Great questions!

Personally, it is all started in high school.  I would get friends who wanted me to pick them up in the morning and after school.  It would be great if they acted like normal human and not yelling out the car at their friends or pitch in a few dollars at the pump.

Motorcycle, I can only pickup one passenger, with helmet law they won't yell out the helmet to their friends..  If he or she does that I could always elbow the **** out of him!

Again, the price of gas was not that expensive with only 750 cc engine.

Another would be ease of parking space, at work we have our own parking for motorcycles.

  10. Wind in the face, titts in the back and always have a parking space. Travel in a car is like watching the world on TV.

At my house, we've been commuting by motorcycle since the 70s, when gas was under forty cents per gallon.

  11. I'm almost 60 and I ride to keep from getting old. Been riding for 40 years and it feels just as good as the first time I cracked a throttle open.

  12. I ride to let my anger out.  To forget about all my problems. To get away from everyone and everything.  I ride to get that adrenalin rush from goin 150+ around a turn (on a track). To trully know what the phrase " Tunnel vision" means, from hitting 200mph on the highway.  I ride because before my dad passed away me, him, and my sis would always ride for hours then end it with dinner at a random resuraunt.  I ride because its in my blood to ride.

If you look at my blood sample you will see my blood cells are the shape of a motorcycle instead of circles. < lol JK but that would be cool.

I enjoy being able to get away from everything when im on my bike. All you can hear is the engine and the wind, so that it drowns out your thoughts. Im 20 years old but ive been on bikes since i was 8.  To me riding motorcycle is all i know, and all i care about (besides my GF).  (( love ya lexis))

As for gas prices, doesnt change a thing. I still ride the same way and the same ammount of time.   If prices were $1.89  or $100.89 a gallon id still buy the gas to fill up my bikes.  " Ride to Live, Live to Ride"

  13. I started loving motor bikes when I was a wee lad and have never stopped.  I worked summers for my Dad and bought myself a motorcycle at the earliest possible moment and have rarely been without.  I enjoy most riding a little too fast on a very curvy road.  I have to haul stuff all the time, so my bike is just for fun, so not saving much gas except if I take it on a vacation.  If there are several of us riding, of course we would all be saving gas by being in the same automobile.
