If you had a daughter, and she turned to be a feminist how would feel?

I don't mean the radical type of feminist, i mean the type of feminist who believes in equal rights for women, and doesn't hate men.

  1. I would tell her not to be so silly and go and wash the dishes ha ha only joking that seems to me to be a normal young women so long as she dosen't take it to far and can get on with her life.

  2. i would be mad

  3. Do women need their daddy's approval to be feminist?

  4. Great, what's not to love?  I'm not an anti-feminist-I'm for equal rights.

  5. I would ask her why she joined a group that tells her she is treated badly and it's her father and brothers' fault.

I would ask her what more she wants, since she is treated just as well or better than her brothers. We spend more money on her clothes, she goes to the same schools, get the same gadgets (ipods, etc.) has the similar house chores (the boys do more of the heavy outside work though), and will have all the same opportunities in life that her brother, as far as we can provide.  There is simply no point in joining up with the feminists.

  6. I would point out to her that most of the western world believes in equal rights but don't align with feminists or any other IST.  Women who see the need to call themselves feminists are almost always man hating radicals.

  7. I have a daughter, and I would not particularly mind.

  8. I love both my feminist daughters, neither radical. What, exactly, is your question? Are feminists required to hate men?

  9. anti-feminist men, are misognistic twats who would probaly molester their daughters, so best not ask there opinion

  10. I have a daughter who I am very proud of. She believes in equal rights for women and doesn't hate men. I love and adore women. I think there are some things women do not have equal rights then men. And in some things they have way more rights then men. My daughter thinks the court systems are way more biased in favor of men then women or instance.

  11. Well I don't think anti-feminists would be reading articles in here... unless they consider high blood pressure fun.

The vast majority of society aligns with the view of non-radical "feminists"... it's just the term that has been hijacked by the radicals. The first 2 feminist waves have succeeded, the 3rd one (radical) was crushed and has tarnished the definition of feminism. So we have a lot of people calling for equal rights, but afraid of calling themselves feminists because of being treated like a man-hating radical.

If I had 2 daughters that called themselves feminists, I would teach them the stigma that goes with the word for their own good... if they persisted, I would probably be taken out of their lives for being a man anyway.

EDIT: Now why would I get "thumbs down" for this? That doesn't make any sense... unless it's because I'm a man of course?

  12. Feminism isn't about equality and I'm not having kids anyway so it doesn't matter.

If by some chance I did, she would be taught very well about the evils of feminism very early on. She'd know right from wrong.

  13. If I have daughter, I'd MAKE SURE that she won't become a feminist.  No responsible parent would allow their own child(ren) to be brain-washed by feminism.

  14. If she believed in equality I would ask here why the h**l she thought she was a feminist then.

  15. do you really think that anti-feminist men are going to be answering questions in this section

  16. I really wouldn't care, everyone should believe in equal rights. But I'm anti-RADICAL feminist, which is what most feminists are. So I would take careful steps to prevent that from happening.
