Question for anyone who is or has been a LONG SNAPPER

Im a very good Long Snapper im going into my 10th grade season (got called up 2 varsity because of my snapping). Ive performed well at colleeg camps, recruiting stuff etc. I just had a question about what kind of shoulder pads other snappers wear. I know they make Long Snapper pads but they are pretty darn expensive... Do u wear like QB pads or RB..i heard of pl shaving down the chest plate.. anyway what do you do that works for you?

I would try to find the smallest pads that you can find or somewhat close because its nice to have a long snapper that can get it to the punter a in a hurry, but a guy that can get down the field in a hurry and make a solid attempt tackling the returneror taking up a blocker is even better.  good luck finding pads.

You should go to the Iowa Hawkeyes, but if your good you probably won't.  LOL

I wear RB pads and they seem to work pretty well when I do it
