Question for budget travelers: Which of these options would you prefer?

A. A flight + lodging package for one month to your favorite destination in a decent hostel/hotel that you're familiar with: $2000.

B. Flight + hotel/hostel hopping for one month to various lodgings (each of which you will be staying at 1-3 days), only some of which you are familiar with (some of which may be downright dumps) for $1500.

Which would you prefer, and why?

B. Try something new! And if you get to a  place that is a dump,  leave after 1 day if possible (as you mentioned, you'd only stay in each place 1-3 days.
