Question for emos/ emo haters?

(yes i am emo) ok i really wanna know, why do (you think) people hate emos so much?? i mean, being different is NOT a reason to be hated...and there is so much anti emo c**p on the internet (youtube, failblog exc.) i don't really give a c**p about those people, but i read one to many anti emo conversation on youtube, and now im pissed off

no, "being different is not a reason to be hated", but, being an emo isnt being different.

i really dont mind emos i just dont like it when they think they have something to moan about when there is so much c**p going on in other parts of the world.

People say that because they believe in the media emo, and even tho their are real emos out there they hate them to. So basically the media is making the real things look bad.

I hate when people use fashion as an excuse to diss a mental disorder (calling anyone who looks depressed emo, or blowing off people who SI as just trying for attention) and I hate people who act out mental/emotional disorders in order to fill a fashion statement and a stereotyped role.Other then that, I couldn't care less what clothes you wear or what music you listen to.
