Question for fantasy sports players....?

Question

Have you ever found yourself rooting AGAINST a player on your favorite sports team because you opponent in fantasy baseball/football/basketball had that player on their team???

For example, i'm a huge Chicago Cubs fan, but last night when Carlos Zambrano was pitching, I found myself wishing he would pitch like c**p, but wishing the Cubs would still pull off a win. Which is just what happened, but i felt a little guilty afterwards, lol.

Yes.  I have been playing fantasy football and baseball for 11 years now and I have slowly drifted away from favorite teams to favorite players.  This can be good and bad depending on how you look at it.  But regardless of who I am rooting for, I am just happy to be watching a game.

As a baseball example, the worst situation is when you have your pitcher going up against your batter.  Do you want a strikeout or a home run?

yeah its happened to me. i'm an astros fan, but i've found myself rooting against them before.

I like conflict like that. It's make you tougher and hopefully smarter. When I know I'll be going to my home team's game I look around for interesting waiver wire pickups on the opposing team to add to my fantasy team, just so I can get those double whammy match ups where I'm rooting for both sides to win and looking for a result that makes both look good. But that's just me.

Yes! lol I am a HUGEEEEE ravens fan, and I was at the game, and I wanted Steve McNair to have a c**p game, but the ravens to win, and they crushed the steelers, all thanks to the defense lol.
