I used to not mind how my swim suits looked. Then one day I felt like there was no support and I was sticking out in my swimming suit while going commando. I was wondering am I just too self-conscious or is there a way the fix this. I mean maybe I am just over obsessing I don't know please help. Thanks in advance.

  1. dont let it bother you.  everyone feels the same way every once and a while.

  2. kinda bugs me too, but i dont think you should worry about it too much. maybe try to find some trunks with thicker material, or wear underwear under them.

  3. Lycra breaks down with time and exposure to sun, ozone, chlorine, etc. I've had suits seemingly fall apart overnight. Give you suit a careful inspection -- it might need to be replaced.

  4. Yes You're Over Obsessing , Every Thing Is Cool, Don't Worry.

  5. shouldxixevenxask, sounds like it might be time to get a new swimsuit.  The fabric can break down over time (salt water, chlorine, etc) and you're left with less support than you had when you first bought the suit.

Suits for top-level competition are not lined, since reducing drag is a priority. However, many swimsuits for training are front-lined.   A suit with lining will generally last longer, and hold its shape and color better than an unlined suit.  A lot of them use nylon mesh for the lining now.

Personally, I prefer the Andrew Christian lifeguard swim shorts - they're not super expensive and they last a long time.

I'll include a link at the bottom of the message.

    Good luck in your choice.
