Can Acetaminophen and Dipenhydramine build up in your system?Brief explanation would be helpful,Thank You.

If you follow the directions for taking those medications properly, then your body will work on eliminating them through your liver/kidneys at a reasonable rate.  If, however, you load up on too much of any medication, then your body can't eliminate it in a timely fashion.  Acetaminophen overdoses kill the liver and kidneys, for example, and you can die slowly and miserably.

    The two main systems that remove wastes of various types from your body(even your own body's byproducts) are your liver and kidneys.  Different medications are eliminated through one or the other or both.  The liver has been found to have something like 70+ functions so far.

    Your digestive tract eliminates a little medication, perhaps, but mainly eliminates food and body wastes.

    Sometimes, though, people have strange reactions to drugs.  This is an example from my childhood; I was given cough medication with a narcotic in it, and for some reason, it took several days for my little body to respond to the narcotics and then I slept for about three days!  That may have been due to immaturity in one of my systems!
