Question for i-pod touch users?

What do you primarily use it for. I want one, but does it just make more sense to get the i-phone? How would you rate it against comparable products? Do you use it as a player and just keep the phone separate?

i use my iPod touch as a PDA type device/music player/Ebook reader (jailbroken ipod) and to check my emails when im away from my computer and near a wifi network

I wasn't interested in having the iphone. I have a phone and I think that my phone should be separate from my entertainment. That said. I adore my ipod touch as it does everything the iphone does...except make calls, which is perfectly fine with me, because I'd hate to be in the middle of watching something and it gets interrupted because someone chooses to call me.
