Question for law students?

when applying for a law school and they asked you for your criminal record has anybody answered yes to a misdemeanor for example "defacement of private property" even if expunged and if so how has it affected what schools accepted you?

When I was accepted to Law School, I had three DUI's on my record.  I had also been sober a few years.  I did have to sweat an interview, and write an explanation, etc, and got a conditional acceptance until the State Bar reviewed it and cleared me.

The freshest offense was about 5 years old at the time
