what's the difference between taxation and rent? if taxation is theft, how is rent different?

  1. You agree to rent , it is a business transaction. Taxes are stolen at gunpoint.


  2. A good point for the reason that citizens can make their own money and so may require no rent also a different system would have volunteer homes built or repaired out of necessity not cash. Or people felt like helping repair them.  A person fears robbery at an ATM only because the money is not there for everyone to take. State says it is illegal to steal it but is already is everyone's money. State says you cannot have your own money but robbers go to prison for taking what is everyones. State sends soldiers to get what they have already money which citizens can literally make but leave up to the state.

    States make illegitimate claims on land and use that monopoly to make exploitative claims on people's labor.

    Latifundists make illegitimate claims on land and use that monopoly to make exploitative claims on people's labor.

    P.S. There is no free contract between robbers and their victims. States and state-backed monopolists are robbers; the rest of us are their victims.
