Question for marines... What happens after...?

the crucible? My bf just went through the crucible is there any way i can know if he passed? what happens if he didnt? its just curiosity

He passed, or you would know it already! However, this means he is now a Marine. God Bless him because only God can protect him now!

he passed he got that far he made it its a team event and the team wont let him down.  he will be a marine eagle globe and anchor and be among the best.  if he didnt it would depend....if he dropped out or was hurt

There is no way to tell. The only way you will know, is if he tells you. I saw alot of people get hurt when we did the crucible and they still graduated, so long as they made it through a certain percentage of it and showed effort, they were able to graduate. So, in reality it depends on how he performs in boot camp--which you will never truly know--and how broken he gets. The best bet is to wait for a letter.

Its not a pass fail type of event..He would have to break a leg in order to pass..99 percent of recruits who make it to the crucible will graduate..

So you do not need to worry..You should be happy and curious as to what happens if he passes and not if he fails.

everyone pulls together during the crucible. unless he got hurt he probably made it. the worst part is after all that $hit, you still have like a 6 or 8 mile hike back to the squad bay. the next morning you get the best breakfast ever. tell him i said oorah.

I just did the crucible about 3 weeks ago.  The only way he could have "failed" the crucible is if he had hurt himself badly enough to get dropped to another company, or if he had done something stupid like get in a fight or refuse to wake up for firewatch ( a kid did that in my platoon, luckily he didn't get dropped).  

It's Thursday night, so your boyfriend has already completed the Reaper hike, done the EGA ceremony, and had a well-deserved Warrior's Breakfast.  All he has left is one boring week, and then he's home free for 10-days.
