Question for mature women?

There's a painful, knuckle sized lump on my labia. What is this? I tried squeezing it and all it did was HURT...Extremely. Any ideas? Sorry to be graphic, but hey, it's my health we're talking about.

Probably a cyst. Try sticking to cotton underwear, and if it isn't shrinking or gone within the next 2/3 weeks, have it checked out.

Wash thoroughly and wait it out, it should go down.

It sounds kind of like an in-grown hair, but I would still reccomend going to your doctor, after all, it is YOUR health we're talking about.

It could be a boil, which can make you quite ill.

You can take a warm cloth to it a few times a day, but do NOT try to squeeze or pop it... leave it be and see your doctor.

It could be a pimple.  Some people get those.  Icing it could help with inflammation.  Try taking an anti-inflammatory as well.

Cut it off. If it isn't an ingrown hair or anything just get rid of it.

if it's knuckle sized than it's obviously too big ot be a wart or an ingrown hair.  i would go and see a doctor. chances are it could be several things, but you won't know for sure until you see your doctor.
