Question for mechanics?

i have a toyota 4x4 pickup truck when i am driving along and change into another gear my break warning light comes on when i pull away but my break warning light does not come on when i am breaking it just appears for one second every time i change gear

CHECK THE FLUID LEVEL IN THE MASTER CYLINDER.

The cap on your master cylinder reservoir, has a sensor to detect the fluid level if your break pads wear down, then the fluid level drops and puts a warning light on, to tell you to check your breaks ,if your fluid level is only slightly low then the movement of the vehicle will indicate this when driving through the gear range.
