First list what service and when you were in or in at the moment, your experiences such us Iraq, and your job in the military, and share with me what you think about going to Russia.

I did four years in the Marine infantry 2002-2006 and went to Iraq 3 times. I don't want to go back to Iraq because I am sick of it, but I will be willing to go to Russia. Let me know whats the word inside the military and your personal option.

  1. What do you plan to do in Russia?

Will you go to Russia as person or as a employee of american company?

Your decision is very brave, good luck!

Drop me line if you want more information about Russia

  2. Marine.  MOS 0331 machinegunner with LAR unit.  1986-1991.  First Gulf War.

Going into Russia would be, in my opinion, a catastrophy.  We're spread thin as it is, and Russia, while not nearly as strong as it was back in the bad old days, is no pushover.  Moreover, they do possess significant nuclear and chemical weapons stocks.  Finally, logistics would quickly become a nightmare.

What would be the aims of such an intervention?  What would be the goals?  Drive through hundreds of miles of Russian territory to Georgia?  I just don't think it's worth the effort, nor do I think we have sufficient surplus units, and supplies to pull it off.

  3. i wouldn't mind going there.  we got to put a stop now before its to late.

about to leave to boot camp nov.  =)

  4. I'm not in the military but if I had the chance to go to Georgia as a peacekeeper, I would.  I'm still too young to serve, and I'm not planning to enlist, but I think I would enlist if I had a cause that I felt strongly enough about, like this situation in Georgia.
