Question:

Question for morticians?

Is embalming someone hard to stomach at first? How long did it take you to get used to it, or is it not as bad as it might seem?

I'm thinking of going to mortuary school, I'm almost positive I can handle it but I've never seen someone embalmed.

  1. Having seen one, you've seen them all.

The worst ones are little kids and those who have succumbed to decomposition.

You'll soon drop out if it's not your cup of tea.

    I've always found it fascinating.

To 'repair' someone to make presentable to relatives can be very rewarding.

I've know someone who was an expert in his field and all he needed was a photo to make a very plausible reconstruction.
