  1. My neighbor's son was on the yearbook last year.

    He worked on layout and uploaded photos to the computer, did cropping, wrote some of the text for various pages -- that sort of thing. Not everybody was taking the pictures, just the ones who were really into photography. He learned a lot about computer graphics, proofing, and production -- great skills to have.


  2. I took Yearbook my junior year. You get a camera from the school and go around taking pictures of random people, sports events and school activities. Then you pick the format for each page of the yearbook i.e. photos, colors, font...

    You also have to do other things in class like scrapbooks. Overall its fairly easy and pretty fun. Hope this helps and good luck! :)

  3. It involves a lot of work, but it is fun work. Like the 1st responder says, you can take pictures, but if you are an editor you get to figure out the layout, decide what you want in the yearbook, what kinds of pictures and who. I loved being in yearbook, I did it in my Junior High and High School.
