I'm just curious on how everyone else is doing. I can make anywhere from $400-$800 a week playing poker like it's a full time job. What about you guys? Also state your age if you can and what job you have currently.

  1. well im 18 and i dont work yet so i play poker for fun but last year i did make a little over 6,500 on full tilt and this year about 2,100 so far my biggest cash was 2,800

  2. i'm pretty much at the mercy of my bankroll. twice, i made 600+ and both times I cashed out leaving 100 left. Also both times, i ran through my entire bankroll and had to start at $1 and work my way back up. this time, i'm going to try and keep my bankroll at 400-600, and cash out in excess of that.

when my bankroll is solid, I usually maintain a 20% ROI. but when it's not, i am forced to play the $1 games, so that 20% doesn't amount to much, maybe $3-4 an hour. if I can play the $3-$11 games, I probably make over 20/hour.

when my bankroll is between 200-300, i have won two medium sized sng's for 200 and 600, but then I immediately cashed out. so, on those two days, i made something around $200/hour.

my goal is a steady $60-100/day, but i always get nervous when i have a decent amount in the cashier.

In my regular job, I make $39/hour teaching part time, so poker is still far far away from that.

  3. my biggest cash in an online tournament was for $2500.  i play tournaments primarily and its and up and down bankroll.  i don't cash every week when i play.

so how are you cashing out that amount on a weekly basis? are you playing cash games or tournaments or both?

  4. well ive been playing online for a couple of years pretty much every day.  I find its a very streaky ya ill win a bunch of cash for a month or maybe even two and think to myself this is all i need to make a living but then you can run into cold stretch which i am currently it can last anywhere from days to months.  my question to u is what type of games r u playing.  cash games or tournies?

  5. I'm 30, a DBA, and I took home about 1600 from poker in the   last two weeks.

  6. I have had a positive income from online poker for the last 38 months. Prior to that I had two losing months in a row, then around 16 months with a positive income.

I play at several different sites and I play only NL tournament Texas Holdem. No cash games, and maybe some SNG's once in a while. I am on the money winning leaderboard at my primary site, and doing well at some other sites too.

My full time occupation is web based, and I am self employed.

My primary poker related site is:

and I also offer free football picks during the season at:

Good luck at the tables everyone!
