  1. Yes, she is married to Philip Mountbatten the son of Prince Andrew of Greece (and the closest living relative to the Russian Romanov dynasty). He is the consort to the Queen and was given the title Duke of Edinburgh, but he is not the King.

This is because Elizabeth's father, George VI, left no male heirs so the Crown passed to her, his eldest daughter. In Royal lineage the King is senior to a Queen and since Prince Philip of Greece is not a direct descendent of the British line he cannot take the title King as he only married into it (even though they are distantly related).

When Elizabeth dies the Crown will pass to Prince Charles and it is possible that his wife, Camilla, could have the title Queen. But this would probably be unpopular and she herself has stated that she will just remain Duchess of Cornwall, consort to the King.

  2. No.  He would have to be crowned king first.  There is a coronation ceremony where a crown is actually placed on his head.  He was never crowned, so he continues to be Prince Phillip.  Guess Elizabeth didn't want the competition.

  3. yes she is married, but no he his prince Phillip, only a  royal blood can be King or Queen.

  4. The Queen and Prince Philip have been married for 60 years. They have children. How can anyone not know she's married?

  5. No, she's married to Prince Phillip, think they were married before her father died, so he only ever got made a prince

  6. then what?atleast for his wife.

  7. Queen Elizabeth is married to Prince Phillip.  He is the Queen's Consort, not the King.
