  1. As far as I know, parents denounce p**n because it can lead to the viewer committing sexual crimes / rape. p**n is bad but masturbation is good for you.

  2. As long as the p**n doesn't encourage violence, there should be no fuss.  The more 'forbidden' the activity, the more enticing.  As far as masturbating, I wish I had learned to do that at an earlier age than I did.  It would have saved me a lot of trouble.

  3. It could be a religion thing or they feel its shameful don't know for sure

  4. I can't speak for all parents but I have two daughters. I am probably what most would call old fashioned. I believe in purity. I want my kids to stay young and pure. I believe that they should be taught about the facts of life, but why does the secular world find it so necessary to pump kids heads so full of s*x... why can't they just be kids?

You have so much time to deal with adult issues and only just a few precious years to be an innocent kid.

  5. For starters,  you are looking at perfect bodies in unnatural positions. You see that and expect your girl friends to be absolutely beautiful with perfect bodies. You don't realize that the ones you are looking at are filmed with filters and airbrushed and only the angles that show them at their best are used. No real person can measure up to that, not even the people in the p**n pics you saw. You will be dissatisfied in every relationship you have because that person just can't measure up to the posed images of airbrushed bodies.

There is s*x and violence in them. Studies have proven that people who commit s*x crimes started out looking at p**n. The day came when the p**n wasn't enough so they moved on to other things and on to other things and on until they were seeking the ultimate thrill. No parent wants to let their kid get started on that.

Many of us just plain consider p**n to be immoral. When you look at it you are fantasizing about having s*x with that person or those people. That's wrong. s*x should be between two people who love each other and reserve themselves exclusively for each other. Better yet, they should be married and not cheating on each other. I'm a Christian and we believe that fantasizing about it is the same as doing it. Its just as big a sin. I certainly don't want my kids involved in that.

  6. Aside from the fact that it is against my religion, the reality is that sexual activity like this doesn't satisfy one sexually, it only whets one's appetite.  This activity really only leads to "the real" thing sooner.

But here's the really big lie about p**n.  People view it thinking that they are going to learn something about s*x from it.  Pornographers are in the business of making money.  They are not in the business of teaching you about satisfying s*x.  Actually, if they tought you about having good satisfying s*x, then they would put themselves out of business.  You would not need p**n anymore if you were having good s*x, right?

Instead, their goal is to give you bad sexual advice, made to look like good advice.  You will end up trying what you see in the magazine, video, etc. with your partner, and it won't be satisfying, so you will assume that you are doing it wrong, that you partner is bad at s*x, etc.  You will have an unhappy s*x life and will buy more p**n to try to improve it.

The actors in these videos are (often) paid professionals.  They are paid to make it look fun, even if it is downright painful to them.  They are positioned so that the camera has a good "view" of "the action", even if the position is painful.

So, you will learn bad sexual habits from p**n that, really, will only ruin your s*x life in the long run.  Hmm, maybe God knew what he was doing when he said it was a "sin".

Sometimes, women are sold into slavery in the s*x industry.  They are forced to make these pictures and videos against their wills.  When you buy p**n, you are supporting slavery.  Even when you watch it "for free", they are only giving it away for free to get you hooked - hooked enough that the free stuff doesn't cut it for you anymore and you'll pay.  How can they afford to give it away for free?  Well, not paying the actresses, because they are slaves, certainly can help.

Lastly, the people who are paid to debase themselves like this - they don't do it to pay their way through school (by and large).  Do you know what air brushing is?  It is altering photos.  What do you think air brushing is mostly used for in p**n?  Removing a mole?  Making a breast look bigger?  No.  The main thing they airbrush out is... the needle marks.  That's right, the main reason women are willing to debase themselves like that is because they need the money to support their drug habit.  p**n supports drugs.  In Afganistan, the main thing that Al Quada does to raise cash is, grow drugs for export.  So supporting p**n, indirectly supports terrorism.

    Still think p**n is harmless?

  7. im only 15

but i ask myself that question too!

i think its because back in there day they didnt do that and stuff

and some paretns might think its degrating to the women and possibly to the men in the p**n

but i ask that question too

i think its just a fear that your becomign sexualy active

and they want to try and stop it or somthing

  8. this is an awesome question id like to so some answers really ive thought the same thing

  9. p**n encourages s*x, but i think masturbation is totally healthy!

  10. In some houses it depends on religion.

Its a sin to let s***n spill or be wasted.

If it I was me I would care I mean its healthy and everything; but s*x is not a subject that people really like to bring up to their kids so I guess they try to ignore it.

I'd address the problem but at the same time I'd realize that they have feelings and hormones like all teenagers do.

I just wouldn't want to know they do it because I really don't know if they wash their hands afterwards. . .lol.

  11. If their put in that kinda enviroment when there young and they look at naked girls on paper they are gonna wanna see a naked girl in real life. then their gonna wanna do the the things they see the men do on the magazines to other girls and if they don't know what protection is then they could ruin their lives. the dirty magazine corrupts their little pure minds.  As for the masturbating, u got me.

  12. response to:

As far as I know, parents denounce p**n because it can lead to the viewer committing sexual crimes / rape. p**n is bad but masturbation is good for you.

There's been studies done that state that p**n, especially all the p**n that came out on the web, has reduced s*x crime. It makes sense. Quicker, easier outlets to whatever fetish or fantasy the could be s*x offender has.

  13. It is addiction that we as parents are worried about. From our own experience we note that when we were young we had neglected lots of things due to p**n.Day dreaming, fantasizing, experimenting and so on.The more you see the more you whant to see

  14. its just weird for you to know your kid does such things i wouldn't want to walk in on my kid doing it or watching p**n save them the grief do it behind their back

  15. they don't want you to turn in to a pervert and i guess that is why they don't like you watching it

  16. Because this kind of activity can lead to other sexual acts, and once parents' kids start playing with themselves, maybe they'll get curious and start playing with others. Plus it's not something that someone else should know that you do.

  17. All that p**n is going to make the want to do the real thing!

  18. Sometimes they just believe their kids are too young, sometimes they are very conservative and sometimes they just think that p**n is unhealthy that it depicts women in a bad way and creates misconceptions about women, s*x, size, or whatever about it bothers them...

  19. Indians are brought up in such a way, the very name s*x

is  taboo  for them. They  want to hide lot of information

from their children which they bound to seek from others,

    some times from wrong people.

Have you not read the news  even our ministers and M.P.'s oppose

s*x education in school. They themselves do not know what is

s*x education means. I tell  you, these politicians got to be

given s*x education first. s*x means first thing comes in their

    mind i think, is intercourse.

Few parents are of course not the same..

  20. why so caring?

  21. Because they want the computer fr theirself's so they can m********e

  22. well, im not a parent, but i am an aunt... and i think it's the thought of a child seeing that sort of thing that appauls them...

i think if they had the option, they would clearly rather the kid be looking at p**n and masturbating...

BUT, most parents are oblivious to what their kids learn at such a young, young age and think they can shelter them from s*x until they are older... but unfortunately, it just doesn't work that way.

i think most parents feel that if their child watched p**n, they would be learning something that they don't already know... plus, no parent (even when they are older) wants to think of their BABY doing anything sexual :)

even now that i live with my boyfriend, my mother still insists that we must be sleeping in bunk beds (for her own peace of mind--she lies to herself)...

    anyhow, hope this helps :)

  23. Masturbation at a young age isn't bad. It's normal. HOWEVER pornography, some of that stuff is downright disturbing! How would you monitor what sorts of p**n the child is viewing? It is better than performing the actual act of s*x, BUT seriously I'd deter my children from it. Maybe dad's should keep up the tradition of passing down their playboys. No harm there. Just say no to the harder stuff.

  24. Hey I'm 11 and m********e. I don't see a problem, all my friends do it. Like everyone does it, well most of the ppl I know do. How does p**n lead to s*x crimes? EXPLAIN!

  25. looking at p**n is against the 10 commandments

  26. Well, I think the p**n thing is more about the fact that alot of p**n deals with, shall we say fetishes, and some of those are not healthy - for instance, p**n shows people enjoying sadism, masochism, beastiality, and many pics show women in a not so nice light (this is just to name a few).  It's just that young people are impressionable. Hey, this love and s*x thing is confusing and hard enough without all those images running around in your head.  It's easy to confuse s*x and love, and parents just don't want it to be harder than it is already.

The masturbation thing is not a problem for me as a parent, unless it is like obsessive.

  27. If I caught my kid looking at p**n...

it would really depend on the age...

like a teenager, I would just think it was curiosity and I'd be glad as long as it was something "Normal" not like S&M, g*y p**n, underage ppl, or something weird.

Other than that as long as they're like 13 and up I'd give 'em some privacy about it.

Any younger and I'd just give 'em the s*x talk.

  28. It’s illegal for a minor to view p**n, and as a parent part of your job is to ensure that your children are following the law.

Plus, have you seen some of the hard-core stuff that’s out there?  Kids who are just starting to explore sexuality (and for all teenagers, it's an exploration), do not need to be viewing that hard-core stuff (or any p**n for that matter, because again, it's illegal).

As for the other issue--I can’t speak for all parents, but here’s what I told my kids when we had the s*x talk (which was the only time we ever discussed it)...  "It's normal.  It's nothing to be ashamed.  But it’s a private thing, and I expect that you keep it private.  And if there's ever a point where it begins to overtake your life--for example, you're spending hours in your room with your door locked--that's going to become an issue, because it's not healthy."

  29. thats exactly what ive though before too i mean as long as theyre masturbating and "loooking" at naked videos than isnt it better than going out and getting someone pregnant/ getting pregnant? i guess they want to set a good example and say that what pornstars do is wrong so the kids watching it shouldnt watch it
