When it comes to you and your child's relationship, like calling and visiting each other, do you feel like you don't have to put forth any effort because as a parent, you've already done your job; now it's your child's turn?

  1. Often I feel as if I didn't make the contact that there wouldn't be any.  My kids are all grown now and have family. responsibilities of their own so I do not mind.  It is nice the odd time when the grandkids call without any motivation.

  2. i'm the adult child, and my dad is very much of this belief. he never calls me on his own and often times when smeone dies has my step-monster (mom) call me and tell me, even though i hate her. or he tells my mom to tell me.

  3. No, I don't feel like that at all.

I call both of my grown kids, though my older daughter moves around a lot and changes her cell phone a lot, so sometimes I have to wait for her to call me. She lives in another state. I see my son about once a week. He doesn't live far. Sometimes I go to his house and sometimes he comes here. Sometimes we all go somewhere together.

  4. I have two children and a great relationship with them we visit each other ,same on calls
