Based on Pepy's diary entry for "the coronation of charles II," was he or was he not a supporter of the restoration of the monarchy?

Please help me out with this. I've read it over and over and I still can't find the answer to it.

THANKS!

  1. I vote for supporter.  Obviously his description of the coronation ceremony is lush and full of such detail about the participants -- he refers to the blessing of the day and God.  He is disappointed not to be able to see the actual crowning.

And more telling -- Pepys was himself one of the Barons of the Cinque Ports at the Coronation of James II.
