  1. Faked picture.

Real vampires are living, mortal people.

They show up just fine in mirrors and photographs.

  2. What strikes me as odd about this is that the story and photo do not match up. Here in the photo the man is willing to have his photo taken, even knowing that this will reveal the suspicion he is a blood drinking spirit. However, the story indicates that he is not out of the vampiric closet, and he is afraid to confirm the girls suspicions.

That and the fact that anyone with a small amount of skill in photo editing could have done this, lead me to the conclusion that this is not a legit photo of a vampire.

    sorry to disappoint you.

  3. Easy, the guy moved out of the shot in the middle of the exposure.  Notice how the bright parts of the background show through more than the dark parts.  The lights behind the right side of his head and his hand, and the red floor behind his mid section.  The bar counter doesn't show through.  This is because when he moved out of the shot the brighter parts were easier for the camera to capture than the dark parts.  He wouldn't be blurry if the exposure was long enough because a timed exposure is basically an 'average image' and if his time moving is a small part of the total exposure time then it's factored out of the final image, as long as he's not significantly brighter than the background (and he's not, he's darker.)  And we can plainly tell that it IS a timed exposure because of the wash out around the background lights.

It's really easy to take pictures like this, I've done a few myself.  Take a few test shots with your camera to find the maximum exposure time you can use so everything isn't washed out, stand in the picture for about half of the exposure then quickly move out of the way.

Besides, vampires aren't supposed to show up *at all*, not just partially show up.

Of course we know vampires don't exist to begin with, buuut :P

  4. no this is obviously a fake. i am a graphic designer and i use photoshop ALOT! You'd be surprised what photoshop can do. it is just a fake. and i know alot about vampires. somethings just dont fit...

  5. It is an altered photo.

  6. I work with graphics and know the programs really well and i am also a paranormal investigator and i can tell you the picture was used with the opacity settings in photoshop. It could also be a exposure problem....

  7. its definitely fake...i mean really

  8. I have seen that happen on pictures before, it has to do with something about moving out of the pic before the exposure on the film takes.  My Dad looked like a ghost before on a pic I have with him and my dog in it and I have a pic where I am a "Ghost" standing next to a girl friend of mine.

  9. It is an interesting picture and I am just wondering if that is not the result of a camera malfunction of some kind.

  10. I am not sure if I completely believe the explanation provided above that photo.  This could be a photo altered to comply with what the vampire people were looking for.  It could be a found photo with a caption written to comply with that which is contained within it.

I looked at it pretty closely.  Based on what little there is to observe, my only problem with it is that it appears as if the two people were in a dark room when this photo was taken.  The reflected flash as seen on her dress and his glasses seems to be in too harsh a contrast given how well-lit the room is.  Also, the perspective seems skewed.  It seems to be higher in the photograph of the room than it does in the photograph of the people.

  11. That story would have been better told to a group of adolescent girls sitting around a camp fire.

  12. if that picture is real then it's really creepy. looks like it may be a fake though. i would say it's 50-50.
