  1. in boxing you need to wear box. did you know that cuz person who teach is a teacher with "er' at the end. so boxer have to wear box. box"er" hehehehe get it?

  2. I think Mayweather is the best.

Rocky ain't real. Movie character. Stallone (Rocky's portrayer) is too small to have ever fought heavyweight.

  3. I like oscar!

  4. Marvin Hagler is the only true middleweight that you have listed.  Oscar De La Hoya and Felix Trinidad did fight at middleweight, but they didn't make it too far to say the least...  If I had to pick who has had the most accomplished career out of those fighters, I would have to go with Hagler.  He beat so many other good/great fighters, such as; Vito Antuofermo, Alan Minter, Mustafa Hamsho, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns, and John Mugabi, and many feel that he won the close fight with Sugar Ray Leonard.  And he was the undisputed middleweight champion and he never shied away from challenges, and he proved how tough he was every time he stepped inside the ring.  Trinidad is done as a top level fighter but in his day, he can be considered a great fighter as well, De La Hoya has stated that this is his last year and I also think that he has proven himself to be a great fighter even if he has lost most of his biggest fights, and Mayweather still has time left to beat some other top opponents and he is the current welterweight champion of the world.  I would probably have him second on your list after Hagler because Mayweather has fought and beat some great opponents, no matter what other people say.  And to this day, no one has gotten the best of him becuase he's still undefeated.  Even if you think Jose Luis Castillo did beat him, Mayweather beat him more convincingly in their rematch to erase any doubts about the first fight.

As far as Rocky goes, it depends on which one you're talking about- if you are talking about Rocky Balboa from the movie series, then no, he was not a real fighter.  His character was inspired by Chuck Wepner- a journeyman heavyweight who got a shot at Ali's championship and almost managed to go the distance with him when many thought he would be stopped much sooner.  He even managed to drop Ali (although it may have been a trip) and he fought better than most people thought he would, but he was stopped in the 15th and final round with 8 seconds remaining.  If you are talking about Rocky Marciano, then yes, he was a real fighter who retired as undefeated heavyweight champion with a record of 49-0, 43 KOs.  He is considered to be one of the best heavyweights of all time and he had one of the hardest right hands in boxing history (it was called his "Suzy-Q").

  5. Only one of those fighters, Marvin Hagler, was a middleweight.  But he was lightyears more accomplished than the other fighters mentioned.

Rocky, I assume the Rocky portrayed by Sylvester Stallone, was based upon a club fighter name Chuck Wepner.  Wepner was similar in that he received a title shot against the great Ali, and that he shocked the world by staying up for 15 rounds.  However, with seconds left in the fight, Ali dropped Wepner.  All Wepner needed was to get to his feet, and then he'd have gone the distance with the champ.  It would have been a moral victory.  But Wepner didn't beat the count.  Sylvester Stallone saw the fight and thought that a movie about a club fighter going the distance would make a good story, and then came the movie "Rocky".

  6. In my personal opinion, Floyd Mayweather has had the most accomplished career.

He recently knocked out a used-to-be undefeated 42-0 boxer from Manchester England.

And no, Rocky was never a real fighter. :P

  7. This is a good list of fighters.  Marvin Hagler would be my choice as he was a great middleweight champion with an overall record of 62-3-2.  Floyd Mayweather Jr is the welterweight champion right now and is undefeated so he would be my 2nd choice.  Rocky Balboa was a fictional fighter played by Sylvester Stallone but Rocky Marciano was the former undefeated heavyweight champion and Rocky Graziano was the former middleweight champion.

  8. I think Onyok Velasco is the best.
