Question for people who like to bid on eBay?

I'm trying to get these really nice bagpipes, but some guy tries to outbid me. He's obviously sitting at his computer and refreshing the page every 10 seconds to see if someone has overbid him. Do you have any tips for me so I can for sure win this item or at least have a greater chance? SERIOUS Answers ONLY!

The guy may not be at the computer, but nay have a higher maxinmum bid in place this will cause his bid to go up as you bid., two things you can do, put your maximum and see if it outbids him, you'll have wait to see if he outbids you or wait near the end and put in your max and hope it is higher than his. Don't get involved in a bidding war and pay more than you want to/
