Do you ever do breathing treatments (nebulizer) and have a nasty taste in your mouth after from the albuterol or whatever you use?

  1. I have had several different medications in my nebulizer, but none of them had a taste of any kind.  You may want to mention to your doctor or at least talk to the pharmacist to see if it's normal with the medication you are using.

  2. Yeah I've used one in the past.

It's sort of salty isn't it...?

Well I remember it like that but I haven't used a nebulizer in years now... (can you talk to a doctor about getting an strong steriod inhaler or something? my mum had to use a nebulizer for 45 minutes twice a day and stopped her going on holiday sometimes... now she has a super kind of asthma pump..)

Rinse your mouth out with mouthwash and brush your teeth.

Also drinking tea can help I think.

  3. Yes, and the taste is horrible.  Rinse out your mouth after using a nebulizer, especially with some medications.
