You have the choice to keep your legs closed, or use some sort of bc, that you can get for free at the health dept.

Why should a baby die because YOU made a bad choice?

  1. A fetus is not a "baby".

  2.   If a fetus is not wanted and becomes an unwanted child, I may have to support it by my tax dollars.  An abortion is cheaper.  Why should someone else's mistake cost me money?

If a person has a special needs child, I will never complain about the fact we may well have to help out with our tax dollar.

  3. A fetus is aborted because another bad choice in a string of bad choices is made.  Sometimes another bad choice is the lesser of two evils.  Your opinion on the matter isn't going to change anything.

  4. You do know condoms and birth control aren't 100% effective, don't you. There have been many women who have gotten pregnant while on birth control and using condoms.

  5. hmm, what about in the cases of incest and rape? what then.. keep a child born in those conditions??? answer me that ohhh smart one.. and im guessing ur a MAN!

  6. I am a married woman so keeping my legs closed isn't practical. However, I was on birth control and it worked perfectly for 6 years. Truth is though, no form of birth control is 100% effective- it failed for us. I am 3 months pregnant and my husband and I CHOSE to keep our baby. BUT, that doesn't change the fact that I am pro-choice. Just because it was a good decision for us (we are in a position to financially and emotionally able to care for a child), for some women, this may not be the case. Some women are young, poor and the baby's father has stepped out of their life. Some young girls will be put on the streets if their family finds out. Some women were raped. The child's quality of life would be very poor.

My body has been through so many changes since I've became pregnant. I am lucky to only have to work part time because I am so exhausted all the time. I couldn't imagine what would happen to a woman who works full time, who is exhausted and had terrible morning sickness for 9 months. She could possibly lose her job over it. All because birth control failed and she was forced to keep the pregnancy.

Bottom line- not all women who are pro-choice would actually choose an abortion. I would NEVER have an abortion, but it isn't my place to decide what other women do with their bodies. It's a personal choice.

  7. I am pro-choice for other women. I can control what I do, but I have no business telling another woman how she should live her life.   I was not put of this earth to judge others.  Most women who are pro-choice have never  had, nor would ever seriously consider having, an abortion.

I really don't like to be negative, but your question is stupid.  It sounds as if you think a woman gets pregnant so she can  get an abortion.

  8. I agree with the birth control but not all abortions are due to carelessness.  Rape, Incest, and in some cases the health and life of the mother.  That is why there should be a choice. Years ago, women would use coat hangers when they had no safe place to go. I would hate for that to be someones only option now.

  9. It doesn't matter what decision, I or YOU would take. The government doesn't have the right to regulate a woman's body. All of you conservative nutjobs think that people who are pro-choice WANT to "kill". It isn't for you to decide. If you're so appalled by killing, why don't you oppose the killing of innocent people in war?
