  1. Proactive does work for the majority of people, it does sound like it would work for you since you said it wasn't severe. I used Proactive awhile back and I saw changes in just a few days. My pimples were less noticeable and my skin was softer. But it is important to remember that once you stop using Proactive your acne will come back. I would recommend it.

  2. yeah it works but for me it only cleared the pimples and red marks. It took most of the blackheads away but left some on my nose.

  3. it works so good! I didnt personally use it, but my brother did. he had used everything also, nothing worked either. His face is flawless now! also, the refining mask they give you works wonders!!It takes away your blemishes over night. If it doesnt take them off then it makes them skin color! it is deffinately my favorite product (i use the refining mask, but i dont have much pimples) One thing about proactiv is that you have to use it EVERY DAY or it wont work as good... hope this helped!!! goodluck<3

  4. oh my gosh yes! it works great!

its takes a week to a week and a half to really really work, so if you get it don't get frustrated!  also for the time being, don't pick at your face. proactive also comes with little [packets that talk about things like "don't pick" and also things like myths. for example, chocolate doesn't cause pI'mples! im 16 and i have terrible skin, and if it worked for me, it'll work for your few blemishes!

    hope this helped!

[edit] also, lots of people get dry skin from this. my dermatologist said its because i used too much lotion. that will bring that effect, but if you are care full with proportion you should do fine!

  5. It works, but I stopped using it for some reason or another. I've found that using anything with benzoyl peroxide works just the same.

  6. i use proactiv and it works really good. at first it will give you more zits or make your already excisting zits bigger, but if you use it constintely, it takes all of your zits away. good luck with getting rid of zits, its a real battle.

  7. Nope, they make you pay about 50$ a month, and if you stop using it, you break out, so you have to keep buying it..

    so i stoped

and just used nutrogena acne bar in the shower >_>

  8. i have kinda bad skin 2, and i am with u, i have the same problem, proactiv works for most of my friends, but for me, idk, it just doesnt work, it worked for like the first 2 weeks, and the it just started drying my skin out, but i know the stress, so, just try it and see if it works for you.

  9. well proactiv either works for you or it doesnt. personally my brother uses it and it doesn't work  unless you follow the instructions perfectly. however, i do use the face mask from time to time and it seems to really help

  10. Well it worked for me, but it didn't work for my cousin.

It also worked for my mom, brother, and a friend..

But not my sister in law..

So I really think that it depends on the persons skin and stuff..

But...If you do decide to get it, DO what the directions say!!

My sister didn't listen to them, and it was working GREAT for her

skin, but then she stopped using it unless she needed to get rid of a

pipple FAST...And then she would leave it on her face for MUCH

longer then the directions said, and then it caused her some

    problems..

But, What I found that works for me (I know this sounds weird, but

try it. If it doesn't work for you, then oh well..You didn't lose anything.)

Crush up some aspirin, (The kind without the over coat) mix it

with a tad bit of water, (until it becomes a paste) and put a thick layer

over the pimple(s), and leave it there for about 15-30 mins..

    (If you would like, repeat..)

And do that 1-2 times a day..

(depending on how bad your pimples are)

If that doesn't work, then try proactiv..

Also, Toothpaste works too..In fact it works VER well!!

    BUT...DO NOT USE IT!!

It could possibly leave scars on your face, don't chance it.lol

Just try the Aspirin first, if no work, the go to the proactiv..

Hope you find something that works for you!!

  11. proactiv didnt help me, it dried out my skin way to bad, did clear up some pimples but i wouldnt say its worth it, works just the same as every other product, but my doctor prescribed me this stuff called,

seediclin, ( dont know if thats how you spell it, but thats how it sounds) and some over the counter pump soap made for that, and it worked out good for me, ask her about it.

    good luck.

  12. When I used Proactiv it dried out my skin terribly. It depends on how your skin reacts to certain products. I found my skin like Clean and Clear better than proactiv. I hope I help you. Just try it out and see if your skin likes it.

  13. yes it does it makes your skin look fresher also it sometimes dries out your skin so use a moistruizer or lotion and your skin will look better

  14. it does for me. i've been using proactiv for almost 3 years now and am pretty much blemish free. (i never had severe acne either, but it keeps those stray zits away) the only times i get little bumps now is when i get lazy on the weekends and dont wash my face.

my friend can't use it though. her skin is WAY sensitive, and she says it stings a bit for her. still, it'd be worth a try. and its not that expensive. you pay $20 for a pack, and if you only use it once a day, then it will last you about 2 months.

one thing to keep in mind: once you see that you're running low, order a new pack immediately. once i ran out and didn't have another right away and i starting breaking out as if i'd never used proactiv. you could say that your face becomes depenedent on it...but would you rather have a zitty face or cough up $20 for a clear one?

see if you can order a trial pack if you're not sure.

EDIT: i forgot to say that it might sting the first 2 or 3 times, but not severely. give it a few days and you'll see that it works.

    good luck :]]

  15. I have the same problem,

    IT REALLY DOES WORK.
