If a number hasn't come out straight or box in almost 10 years, do you feel it's due to come out any day??

I was just checking my state lottery website, and the numbers I like to play (I don't play often) hasn't hit since 1999, one since 1995.

Should I find a new number, or keep faith in this one?? What would you do??

  1. I agree that the odds are fixed, however if you were asking because you felt that maybe the game was "fixed" then it would be worth a shot to keep playing those numbers. In the end it's mostly to soothe your nerves if you're of the school of thought that once you stop playing your numbers, it might win. Statistically, every number has the same chance but hey if it gives you a piece of mind, why not?

Speaking of which, I do not believe the game is fixed in any way possible. However, I did read this really interesting website recently based on the statistics of the balls drawn in the mega millions. The site is not promoting any conspiracy theory, merely it's analyzing the numbers drawn on a purely mathematical basis.

  2. The odds of any set of numbers being selected are EXACTLY the same, EACH time the Lottery is held.  The history of numbers drawn will not effect subsequent drawings.

If someone were to flip a coin to have five consecutive heads, while it would be tempting to declare that a "tails" is due, the odds of the next flip being tails is STILL, exactly 50%.

The coin does not care or know what the last five flips were.  Same for Lotto numbers.

The only guaranteed odds, for Lotto is that if you don't play, you can NOT win.

  3. keep faith coz if u change your number and it comes out u would be gutted.

  4. The odds are the same whether you play the same number or change it every day. If the numbers are random, it doesn't matter which numbers have come up in the past. If they are not totally random, you should look for numbers that have won more than once in the last 10 years, or in the last year.

  5. KEEP FAITH!!!!!!!!!
