  1. im not a skater, but my brothers big on skating.

blind boards are actually really good and durable,

also element boards are really good with ollies and all that.

Hahaha those boards are like gun proof.

    good luck & happy skating.

  2. Different size boards are better for flip tricks.  I'd suggest an 8" board, it's much easier to do flip tricks.  Whatever you do don't buy a Blind/Element/Birdhouse board, they're the same as any walmart board.  All boards have about the same pop besides the helium/featherlight Element boards, but they'll snap easily and are just terrible, not to mention you get looked at like a cheater.  And your bearings are what make your wheels turn, it has nothing to do with the deck.

Build a board there, you can choose custom parts and they build it for you.

  3. Yes, yes you can. You should go witht he cheap ones until you get a bit more advanced.

  4. Yes, real skateboards are actually made for doing tricks and being more durable. They have layers of intelligent wood combinations. They go faster, make you do tricks higher and better, and are all around way better.

  5. it depends you have to try some out i lke the blinds and darkstars are the ones i like oh and hawk sucks so don't get it it's like a walmart board.

  6. Of course, real skateboards have good pop and quality and They last longer. I have an element skateboard that was $64.00 and its 2 years old, but it seems and feels brand new. =)

You can get cheap skateboards here...

trust me just make your own account and buy anything your looking for...it's really cheap and it works!

Just search for anything and you'll find it.

  7. it depends on what kind of skateboard you are looking for, different decks along with parts can affect the way you skate. i do suggest you buy one from zumies

  8. well the wheel spins faster. But it depends if you can do the tricks easier. Because a real skateboard is not as steady as a fake one.

  9. i would definitely get a pro deck...if you can afford to....no offense....but cheap $15-$20 boards are a lot harder to do tricks on. but if you feel comfortable on a cheapy...go for it! by thw way, i have to say im impressed that you can frontside 180 and pop-shuvit on a cheap board, 'cause i could barely kickflip (i have a birdhouse, which is much easier).hope this helped!

  10. Yes and yes. "Real" decks are made from higher quality wood. The bearings in the cheap knock-offs are exactly that, cheap knock-offs. You get what you pay for. The concave and rigidness in a board certainly affects the pop and your ability to control your tricks. You want a solid board that made for that. The walmart special is mass produced trash that is pawned off on unknowing consumers. Parents think they are getting their son a skateboard when really they are buying a toy.
