Question for soldiers wife/girlfriend

Question

how do you deal with them leaving and being gone?...how often do you get to talk?...how do you feel when hes gone and how does he feel?..and any other advice?

I am also an army girlfriend, and my man is currently deployed. He has his own laptop so I get to talk to him every morning (night for him), and before he goes to work (night for me). We talk every day, unless he has a mission. Or is too tired. We also Skype with eachother, We have cams so we can see eachother and hear eachothers voices. So it helps alot. It does hurt bad, bc you miss him soo much. But you look forward to the day he comes home. I count down the days until he's home. It helps me cope. And We talk about the life were going to have when he comes home.so me preparing for that also helps, and as the girl above wrote, sending care packages and letters does make you feel closer, in some weird way. it does help.
