  1. There is no certain age to get your period. Some girls get it at age 9 and others at age 17. It all depends on the person. I got mine at 13 but my friend didn't hers until 16. Nothing to worry about.

  2. There isn't really a scientifical reason, all girls get it at different ages.

Some get it at the start of puberty or the end.

Your period can come as young as 10 or as late as 19.

And if you do get it at 19, be greatful its not as fun as you think.

    You're totally normal. Don't stress!

    Best of Luck!

  3. If I were you, I would be the happiest person in the world.

  4. Don't worry, it'll come. Once you do get it you'll realize that you're lucky. Everyones different! ANd everyone develops at different stages. It'll come soon enough, but enjoy it while you can!!! (by that I mean not having it ;)  )      Hope this helped!   xoxoxoxo smile often

  5. Everyone is different not everyone gets there period at the same time, it should be starting soon, talk to your mom about when she got hers, sometimes that helps, but it will come soon enough

  6. First off, calm down! I didn't get my first period until late June of this year and I turn fourteen in a few months. There is nothing to worry about! I had all of the signs for nearly two years and I was not expecting my period when it came what-so-ever. No, there is not a scientifical reason as to why you don't have you're period yet. Your body decides when things grow, stop growing, begin, end, and so on. You never know when you're body, or life, will make things happen or throw at you. So all you can do is go along with it. So just calm down and wait. That's all you can do. Puberty is a waiting game, so to speak, and you just have to go with it wherever it may go.

Best of luck and you'll period will come soon enough!

  7. i didnt get mine until i was almost 16

  8. id be so happy if i was u

  9. no worries yet. generally, your menarche (first menstruation) usually occurs 2-3 years after you see breast changes (thelarche). medically, you are given until the age of  16 to have your menarche. beyond that age, you have what is called as "primary amenorrhea". you may need to see an OB-gyn specialist then. your menarche is primarily genetically predetermined. ask your mother, aunts, sister, or any female relative when they had their menarche. then get the the average age. aside from genetics, it can also be affected with your weight, stress level and social environment (this is yet to have further/deeper investigation).

  10. Menstruation is the sign of your own body to tell you that you are ready to bear a child. Do you want to become a full woman that early in your life? Only the natives in the Amazon jungle are forced faster by the nature.

  11. It just isn't you time and be happy about it, it just a inconvience once a month after you get it you will wish you hadn't. you will get it when your personal body is ready which from the sounds of it won't be much longer

  12. dont worry! you should be enjoying stress-free months while you can. ENJOY NOT HAVING IT YET. i was like you, but now i wish that mine hadn't ever have happened. when i did get it tho, i did a little happy dance!

    :)

  13. hah its totally normal. my friend didn't get her's till she was 15. Everybody is different and it all depends on your size.

TRUST ME, ITS NOT ALL ITS CRACKED UP TO BE!

I wanted mine too when i was thirteen really bad but once i got it you realize how much you wish you didn't.

Its fine but once you turn 17 go see a doctor and she can check you out. Your good! :)

  14. If by age 16 you haven't had a period then you need to be seen by a doctor for evaluation of amenorrhea. (lack of period). Don't worry as you seem to be having other developments. Everyone starts having periods at different ages. 16 is getting a little late and you need to be checked out. In the meantime. enjoy not having to deal with it!

FYI: Earlier age at first menses is a risk factor for some 'female' cancers (in older age), so you already have an advantage

  15. Everyone is different.  My sister got hers when she was 9 and I got mine when I was 12.  Some people get it later.  Also, research shows that the later you get your period the later you'll experience menopause.  But that's a long, long, long time from now for you. Don't worry about it and Good Luck!  Don't rush the period to come, cause when it gets here you'll want to give it back.

  16. thats totally ok!! I got my period at 14, ha ha just a year ago, and i had hair between the legs etc like 2 or 3 years before i got my period. and vaginal discharge, your suppose to start getting that like 3 months to a year before, but i started getting it in the 5th grade and i started my period in the eighth grade. Same with breast development. Its totally normal! Don't worry, your considered lucky!!

Haven't you ever wondered why we all have different colored hair or different shaped nose. Wanna know why? Cuz guess what, every girls different! Don't worry. When you turn 17, then go to your doctor! In the mean time, keep checking! Its coming!

  17. The reason is that you are only 13. It's probably on its way. Your body will know when the right time is. You don't really have to worry until you are 17. You are still perfectly normal! Sometimes in puberty, the period is the last thing to come. (It was for me.)
