Question:

Question for the guys - would you like to be a woman?

I've often wandered whether men get a little bit envious of women - being able to dress up, not being embarrased to cry and show their emotions, and having the amazing experience of carrying a new life inside you. Honestly now.. would you like to be a woman? is there anything about being a woman that you would like?

  1. Definitely not! I like being a guy that likes other guys! :D

  2. Personally, I love being a guy. Sure there are some things that suck about it ,but it there a lot of great things too. If we don't embrace who we are, our life will suck.

  3. if I ask that question to my neighbor he is gonna say yes he wants to be a woman ,he is a freaking g*y lol

  4. You Bet!

Pretty much everything about it is what I like. :)

  5. I think most g*y men are happy with who they are and aren't really concerned with any perks the opposite gender would garner.

Me personally however, I identify with being transgendered. I sometimes do feel a bit envious, but no so much that I'm like super jealous for women. I just feel, extremely out of place. Its a weird feeling when your mind and body don't match. It's actually very sad when I stop to think about it. Its like your this actor and you're constantly in character 24/7 and you can't stop to take a breather because if you do, you're worried some will perceive you as super g*y or effeminate. Not that I find anything wrong with it, but I know a lot of my friends would.

But anyways, to answer your question: I think the best part would be just being the real me. Its all I've ever wanted.

  6. That's a good question.  Being a male is all that I've ever known though, so I don't know what it would be like to be a female.  I still cry though and I show my emotions a lot.  I wear my heart on my sleeve!  I figure these are the cards that I've been dealt.  I don't mind being a guy, as long as I don't act like a big, dumb brute!  But I think that it's necessary for everyone to realize that gender is an illusion in a way, and that beauty is only skin deep.

  7. YES!! I would love to.

I am a crossdresser but if I was a woman I would be able to wear the clothes I want to without being embarrassed or without fear of being (verbally) abused (or worse!)... I would think if i were a woman, I would have smaller feet than I do now and I could wear whatever shoes I wanted!! :P  (It's EXTREMELY difficult to find nice shoes in size12 in Australia!)

I would love to take the bad things about being a woman (some mentioned in Ali Baba's answer) with the good as well.... of course!

I do feel, however, I would be a L*****n if I were a woman because as a guy I am straight and I don't think my preference would change if my gender did.

  8. Heck yeah I wish I was a WOMAN!! I just came out to my sister about my feelings of becoming a woman.

  9. I would definitely not like to be a woman.

I prefer being a guy and not having to dress up, not having to deal with all the makeup stuff, not being overly emotional, and especially not having a certain time of the month.

In all honesty, there is nothing about being a woman that interests me.

  10. naw, i dont like men, so ppl would prlly think im a L*****n if i was. but if u mean in general, its still no, as a guy im happy tht i dont have to go through those things, if i was a girl tho, i prlly wouldnt be able to stop looking at myself.lol. but sume thing i dont like about being a guy is how ppl dont trust as they would trust a woman, im pretty trustable but most ppl wouldnt think so, and how we get accused of stuff, and sumetime of how predictable we are, or most of us are, it gets old, but other than tht no.

  11. No desire to be a woman.

  12. Never had a desire to be a woman: deal with menstruation, child birth,

high heels, make up, and lower wages.

I do admire their beauty, their strength, and many other attributes, but I am very happy being a man, and g*y at that.

  13. thats a big no from me...i wouldnt want to get rid of my ****....except woman dont have to worry about p***s size/envy lol...that one for the guys n one for the ladies.....

  14. Absolutely yes. I never was much of a typical guy and I would rather be a woman in today's modern world. However, in past times when women were men's property, no.

But then, I am doing something about it. I started transitioning two years ago and about a year from living full time as a woman. I know I will never be the exact same thing but I will be as close as possible. Even now, when I am in my female identity, about half the time, I am far more content and at peace with the world.

And most of the others I know who are transitioning have found an inner peace they never thought possible.

  15.    All my life I have been thinking about this, what would it be like to be a woman? I do not look at it as an excuse to show emotion or cry or anything, because I think men should do that too. I look at it as an inspiration. The thought of being a mother, and the idea that I could wear beautiful clothes and look beautiful, and yet be smart, strong, career minded, feminine and actually be able to experience living a life as a woman. I might be born a male, but I identify myself and consider myself a woman, and though it is harder for me to live this way because of the people who frown upon my lifestyale choice, but I feel I would be cheating myself, and ultimately others if I ignored the truth of the life God has chosen for me. So I guess after a little history behind my answer, I am proud to say, yes I would love to be a woman, and I am proud to say I am one!
