Question for those in a business environment?

I am close to completing my bachelors degree. I majored in professional writing, and I believe my skills as a writer are very well rounded. I have learned to write across many areas. I just want to know if my skills could be utilized in a business environment. I have experience writing memos, grant proposals, etc. Anyone have suggestions about what I should do upon graduation?

Of course, writing is a useful tool in many areas of business. Insurance companies, advertising agencies, various areas of marketing all have demands for great writing skills. If you're interested in pursuing a career in a business environment with an emphasis in writing you should start researching some companies that enable such. A friend of mine graduated with a bachelors degree in journalism last year and now works as a corporate writer.That involves duties like drawing up proposals, writing company newsletters, press releases and contributing articles for the website.But here's a site that looks at suggestions for utilizing creative writing in a business environment.
