are there any physical effects that happen if you do a spell wrong??

only for wiccans idc what anyone thinks its my belief

If you do a spell wrong(i.e. thinking about something out of context, or thinking about something and saying another, not being detailed enough) can adversely affect your working. Most likely it will be a little different than what you intended....you wanted a car, but you got a Pinto. If you did it wrong like using items that were opposite correspondences to your intention (i.e. item with an element of fire instead of water), then your intention might be the opposite of what you wanted...really their are all kinds of things that can happen depending on the type of spell. You won't generally have a load of pain and misfortune unless you tried to do something negative, or unless you angered a Deity. But my advice is don't try it unless you know you have everything in the right place and know exactly how, what, when, where, and why to do it.  Also you should back up your workings in mundane efforts where appropriate.  ex. Don't cast a spell to win the lottery but don't buy a ticket. I hope some of this helps.

I've been Wiccan for over 20 years and I don't bother with spells.

I'm Wiccan but I don't cast spells. I don't entirely believe in myself to do them. It can be risky getting into those sort of things.

Anyways...to answer your questions...there can be MANY physical and mental effects if you do a spell against another person.

I've never known anyone who has said "I broke my ankle cause I said a word wrong". It's not like Harry Potty world, after all. But I'm sure you know that.

If you don't word things right, you might not get your spell the way you want it to work. Usually, from hearing things from friends who are also Wiccan, it's best to assist others, but make sure you have their permission. Like if a friend broke out in zits and they need to get a new Passport photo. You're helping, not going against.

But, beware...my ex best friend told me about his grandmother doing a terrible spell on her daughter in law (his own mother) and all that happened to his mom was that she got a cold for a week. But his grandmother? She broke her ankle and STILL has problems with it to this day.

So just, please, be careful and do LOTS of research. Also...if you're going to do spells? Create your own. It is way more powerful than taking another person's.

Wicca and witchcraft are not the same thing. Wicca is a religion. Why you'd exclude so many witches from your question simply because they're not Wiccan is beyond me.

Depends on the spell. Depends on the person, the circumstance, etc. Depends what you mean by "wrong".

If you are casting the spell in good faith and cast it incorrectly you have just made a mistake.

Remember though, if the spell is of such importance you should be sure you are taking the time and effort to cast it correctly.

sickness, illness, disease, car breaks down, late to work, fired from work, misery, depression, speeding ticket, financial issues....but nothing like a mythical scar slashes across your back for no reason and out of the blue if that's what you're asking.

Personally I don't believe you can do a spell wrong.  You might say incorrect words, or walk backwards  instead of forwards.....but ultimately the energy you put forth is what you get in return and that is all...if you do everything picture perfect for 2 hours and at the end you say theater instead of theatre, the energy is not gonna' change.

what you need to be asking is for those that believe in witchcraft,

but as for an answer . Spells are merely putting your own energy out  there to attempt to exert your own will on the universe . so the only negatives woyuld also come from yourself
