Question for those who have child(ren) in a more expensive educational daycare? Primrose Academy?

I have a few questions about what to expect from daycares in order to pick this best for my son.

1. Do you think it worth it to pay an extra $50 a week for a more expensive education program daycare (here regular price would be 155 a week and the more expensive would be around 200 a week)?

2. If so, why? What is different and better than a regular daycare?

3. Do you know if they allow cloth diapers? Use organic foods or milk?

4. Do they enforce naptime?

Any info you can give me is appreciated. The more expensive school here is Primrose Academy. My son is 14 months old. Thanks!

  1. stay at home.

  2. is there any way you could swing staying home with him or job sharing. Kids do better with a loving involved parent then even at the best of day cares

  3. I would think that the more expensive might be worth it if you have the money to spear, but if your living paycheck to paycheck I would just go with the normal daycare. If you can afford it, it would be a great start academically and probably worth your money. I'm sure they allow organic baby food (as long as your bringing it in) but the cloth diapers are questionable. I'm sure you could work around it though, they might just put the dirty diaper in a plastic sack and let you deal with it. That's what we do at the daycare that I work at. Good luck, and good luck to your son while hes adjusting to a new routine.
