What is the biggest difference you see physically? One of mine has a slightly smaller bone structure (about 1/4 inch shorter and has a slimmer face) and has a more rounded nose--

  1. My best friend has identicle twins and I watch them and care for them like my own... So I'll use hers...

    There three years old.

    Isabella- Is three minutes older.

She has curly hair down to her shoulders.

    She is very shy.

    Arabella- Is three minutes younger.

She has straight hair down to her shoulders.

    She is more social.

  2. there emotions

  3. my twins are 13 yrs old and one is slightly taller than the other and has a bit of a deeper voice because one of them had vocal nodules (bumps on the vocal cords) when he was younger. Also one has a cowlick in the front by the forhead that pushes the hair in one direction while the other has a cowlick in the back.

I actually never found out for sure if they were identical or not because even though there was only one placenta it was so big and the doctor couldn't tell if it was one or two fused together so he said we would have to do DNA testing to know for sure. Our pediatrician however believes that they are identical. They have the same blood type and even though brown eyes (which I have) are dominant, they both have blue eyes like their father.  When they were younger no one could tell them apart but that doesn't necessesarily mean they are for sure identical.

Now that they are older they have different likes, one keeps his hair shorter while the other likes his longer. They both just got braces and one got green elastics and the other did blue LOL

  4. I don't have identical twins, but two of my friend each have a set.

One set's faces are the same but the rest of their body seems to be built differently. They are both very slender, but one's a bit bulkier. Not to mention that one is 2 inches taller than his brother. I can hardly tell that they are identical any more (they're 14 years old, so they're personalities also help with that).

The other set are extremally identical. One's head is a little bit rounder and fuller, while the other's is more of an oval. And one of their ears is a little folded flat on the top - that's the only way I can tell them apart really. The other method isn't fool proof. But they're just babies, so I'm hoping it will be easier as they get older.

  5. One daughter has a birthmark on her knee. It resolved an argument I had with my m-in-law when they were tiny.

They are now 33 and still wear their hair the same. Their smiles are slightly different is my main clue. My sister sent them pix taken at her house, and one daughter called her and asked which one was herself!!! They even confuse their memories. They are so close, they can't always remember what happened to whom when they were growing up.

Have fun with your twins. It's a kick.

  6. Well, tweaking the question a bit, I have twin brothers and we don't know if they are identical or fraternal. One is a bit taller than the other, and one has a longer face and bigger eyes. I also think that their voices are very different- that's how I told them apart when we were little.
