Hey women,

I know Sarah Palin is a woman and all of you want a woman in office but don't you think Obama/Biden is a better choice for the country?

  1. I may like to see a woman in office, but don't like any of the women candidates so far.  Obama/Biden is definately a better choice.  I would hope no woman would cast their vote for Palin just b/c she is a woman.  Her views are the complete opposite of mine and hopefully most people out there.  If not, we sure live in a scary scary world.

  2. Sorry for my ignorance but i thought Obama was the choice of the USA and Sarah Palin was the vice???

  3. Yes I do, so that's who I'm voting for. I want a woman in office, but definitely not that one.

  4. I am kinda tired about hearing that Sarah Palin wants to do away with Roe V Wade.  She doesn't have the power to do that.  The Supreme Court does and they haven't done so with Regan, Bush 1 or Bush II.  It is not going to happen.  Besides, I am sick of watching women use abortion as birth control.  In this day and age you can go on the pill, use condoms, IUD's, the ring, or how about taking responsibility and have the baby.

Second, she is Commander and Chief of the Alaska Air and Army National Guard.  What has Obama led?

She has been an elected offical for 13 years.  Compare that to Obama.

Make fun of her small town?  I thought you wanted people that were salt of the earth and know the hardships you face?

She has been a staunch ethics reformer.  She has not only challenged big oil, but corruption in her own party as well.

She stopped the bridge to nowhere that was wasting millions of dollars, sold the private state jet, and fired some staff at the mansion (telling the people that she can cook for her family).   What has she done with all the extra state revenue?  She gave it back to the people.  Each citizen is earmarked to receive $1200.  Maybe not much but that is $1200 that they didn't have or count on to have before.

I will take Sarah Palin any day over Obama.

  5. Ironically, Sarah Palin (the GOP VP candidate) has far more relevant experience (cough executive experience cough) than Barack Obama (the Dem Presidential candidate). But let's not let logic or common sense dull the irrational buzz that Obama has evoked.

  6. i'm for Obama, only because he wants this stupid war to end

  7. I don't want a woman in the oval office for the sake of gender representation. Especially since she in particular represents nothing I believe in.

  8. Don't worry. Obama's got my vote!

And I'll be putting in a shift at the Democratic Headquarters come this Tuesday, doing my part to get out the vote.

  9. 2 weeks ago she didn't know what the Vice President even does.  That is a little scary.

  10. Yes, absolutely.

Obama will be our next President. McCain's attempt at pandering to the female vote is laughable. It won't work.

    Obama '08.

  11. If I had a dollar for every time somebody assumed women and/or feminists are incapable of voting on the actual issues..... I'd still want to claw my eyes out with a pitchfork.

Milly: Technically, but with McCain's age & health problems, his VP has a very good chance of becoming president.

  12. My husband votes in our household.  I'm only allowed out to buy groceries.

  13. i think this is just a move from the republicans to gain more publicity have more people on their side.

they saw how much of a revolution Obama-Hillary caused, so now they want a piece of the pie.

    they are trying to say:

we are more than conservative old white males,

we are open to having women in the white house too.

    we stand for equality

i think this is c**p. ther will be no equality as long as g*y people are being treated differentl.

i hate politicians, and no i dont belong to any party

  14. I'm a man and I say no.

    This isn't a women-only website.

Go to a feminist blog if you want to play that women only garbage.

  15. Since I don't tolerate overt discrimination (flip's off op)..

Anyways Sarah Palin's gender does not matter. It is her character and what she stands for that does.

I feel confident that she will make an excellent Vice President and if need be or in another 4-8 years she will make an outstanding President of our great nation.

Obama and Biden belong to an older dogma of insider politics. A Vice President is not an advisor to the President, the VP is the next in line to the presidency.

I know I wouldn't vote for Biden but I would vote for Sarah Palin. For starters she is a reformer and has a good deal of common sense.

And common sense is something that is sorely lacking in Washington D.C.

  16. ya know I keep wondering that...and I'm not so sure that Obama would be better...has nothing to do with s*x or race.

  17. I want a woman in office, but not that one. I was in favour of Obama-Biden even before Biden was picked for VP.

  18. I don't want a woman in office just because she is a woman. I want the best PERSON for the job, regardless of their gender. I disagree with a lot of Palin and McCain's politics, so I will not be voting for them.
