i really need to know whether other females feel the same, it would be nice to know I'm not alone in this??

  2. yup totally normal, especially if your 18 or under.

  3. yea, ughh all the time.

  4. YES! I get those days where I look in the mirror and just think Oh God....but then I have days where I actually like myself, lol.

  5. yea i do! then i put like alot of makeup on and still feel ugly.

    no biggie.

  6. yes this is a fairly common phenomenon---it's called being a woman lol.  Yes we all go through it and it s*cks every time

  7. Oooh yes I definitely feel that way.

  8. Sure but it's mostly due to crazy hormones during that certain time of the month

  9. No, never.I never compare myself to anybody else. I have alot of confidence in myself.

  12. yes sometimes

  13. yea totally i saw pretty girl n i think i'm ugly

  14. Yes, we do.  No, you're not alone.  We're judgmental creatures and we tend to be hardest on ourselves.  "We are living in a material world," my dear.  It's hard NOT to notice others.

The only cure I've found is to get over your outward appearance and concentrate on your attitude.  If you carry yourself tall, eyes straight-forward and embrace who you are as a person, all of the material stuff becomes less of a bother.  It won't matter what you're wearing because you will exude confidence.  It's pretty exhilarating because people will start noticing you more.

It takes plenty of practice and concentration, and you really have to feel confident about yourself.  You'll get there.  :)

  15. omg yeah!! i think every women does.. boys dont really have to suffer as much, but yeah sometimes i get up and i dont like any of my dresses, i hate all my jeans and shoes, my make up doesnt look right and my hair is a mess... or at least i feel like i look like s*... dont worry... we all have this problem, but at the end we're all pretty in our own special way.. ;)

  16. I feel down sometimes, but it's usually to do with money worries or my family's health, never about my wardrobe or other women. If you hate everything you own, why don't you sell it/give it to charity? Having a good clear out is quite satisfying sometimes.

  17. Honey, you aren't alone. I've been feeling pretty down all day today. Feeling fat, unattractive, and sad overall. Then I have a fight with the ex about a bill that should have been put in his name 8 months ago because he said he took care of it (GRRRRR). Made me irrationally angry...

I guess I'm really grumpy and frumpy today. I guess I better go get some sleep.

But you aren't alone. But I hope you feel better soon.

  18. Definitely. Some days I just feel so disgusting and unattractive, no matter what anyone else tells me. I call them the days I wake up 'on the fat side' of the bed. I'm convinced all my clothes are ugly or if they're nice they don't look good on me.

  19. Yes. I am 42 now and I don't do it as much as I used to. I think that the teenage years are the worst for that. It is also kinda hard in the 20's. When I reached my 30's I was much more accepting of myself and my appearance. Just remember, you are special. You have your own unique qualities and everyone is not the same.

  20. Yep.

    Every month.   It's normal.

  21. yes i do! especially when it's nearing that time of the month for me....

I  get sooo depressed about everything including my looks

  22. No.  I'm used to getting a lot of enthusiastic praise about my looks, desirability etc, from my husband, and I find that quite satisfactory.  At my time of life I'm not expecting to attract other men, so it doesn't really bother me that other women are prettier than me.  And I was never trendy even when I was young, fashion always bored me to tears, so that certainly doesn't bother me now.

  23. you are definitely not alone. some women always feel they can do better. that's a very good fact, because you will achieve goals with a little bit of persistence, and a few other competitors. every women are beautiful in their own ways. do not worry, this is just a self esteem issue. you are beautiful, so no need to be worried!

  24. of course. i feel like that quite a lot. but i was talking to this one guy friend of mine and he told me i was pretty. that really lifted my spirits =]. all women feel like that, its all in ur mind though.

  25. I'm sure you're not alone, but I don't feel that way.  I know there are lots of women trendier, prettier, and better looking than me (like, in all likelihood, you), but I don't care.  I like my comfortable clothes and my comfortable shoes and I mostly hate the mall and my hair refuses to do anything besides be long and straight.  Any other hairdo will disintegrate in under 10 minutes.

Edit: Though come to think of it, I felt that way pretty much every morning when I looked in my closet from about age 12 to age 18.

  26. Of course.  Its important to remember that there is something absolutely EVERYONE doesn't like about themselves.

But generally, when I feel like that, I take a mental health day and cancel all my plans for the day, then i make myself a face mask, give my feet a good foot soak, maybe go get a massage if I can afford it on that particular day, go for a jog, do some yoga, drink some green tea and just try to make peace with myself and have some alone time... I call it therapy for the soul haha.  I know that this isn't always a realistic option, but it works wonders!  I always wake up the next day feeling so much more alive, so much more beautiful, confident and refreshed, that its worth all of the catching up I have to do from cancellations.

  27. Every women feels this way at least once in their life-time. Don't worry...you're not disfunctional! You're human:)

  28. Yeah i do sometimes. I feel like i don't want to go out and if i do ill see girls prettier then me even if there not, or ill look in my closet and be like what am i gonna wear and feel fat. but yeah its tottalyy normal because i feel that way sometimes and it goes away, cause other times

i think the oppsite. most girls feel this way don't worry.

  29. I do go through phases when I feel utterly like c.r.a.p. about myself, but it has nothing to do with how I look or what other people think of how I look.  It has more to do with whether or not I'm living up to what I believe, living up to my potential as a human, and whether I'm currently coping with the stuff life's throwing at me.  I've got more important and serious junk to stress about than fretting about whether or not I'm trendy enough compared to other women.

  30. hahaha yes i do at times.

but idk if im a good example i have body issues so idk if thats part of it.

like i was a size 3 in 7th grade and i felt really fat so i lost a bunch of weight and went bulimic and now im a size 0 in grade 9.

but ya i feel like that alot but i think it just cuz ppl tend to compare themselves to others too much.

    u r not alone

  31. You are NOT alone. I am kinda going through that myself right now. I feel fat:(... Yet I am too unmotivated to go work out. I really havent gained any weight, I just feel yucky right now. I think its cause I need a change... maybe a new hair cut or something. If you do something nice for yourself it might help you to feel better. I think I need to take time out to go to the gym and have alone time. What would make you feel better?
