My Muslim brothers and sisters..need your help please Help please advice and help!

Hi. Well am 13.Born in the uk. A girl. Muslim.

Okay so this is it:

I do a lot of things that most muslim girls do now days listen to music,wear what they want[i dont show loads of my body off but i dont cover it as it all of it] disrespect my parents{mum-this is so bad} listen to music, watch tv, have a crush. Most things.

But I feel am doing wrong and i really just wanna be a better person. I know myself i cant cut all these things out of my life theres no point saying i can when i know i cant. Am scared of Allah as we all should be but knowing that am not following Islam makes me more scared and scared for The Day Of Judgement which is going to happen one day.

All i really want to do is become a more respectful person. I want to learn to pray Namaz if not everyday at least during Ramzaan. This year am going to Keep all my fasts. Am going to try and read the full Quraan,insahallah, Am really trying to get determained and do the right thing. All i need in some help and advice.

On how i can be more and more determanied to be a better person. And at least know my namaaz and eveything.

I fear Allah as we all do and i want to be happy that am following what hes sent down for us muslims to do.

Oh and by the way...here are some questions general oens am asking.

Is it bad for a girl to have a cursh?even if you cant help it?

When a girl is on she cant pray like namaz-not even during ramadaam?

Boyfriend?

If i only start praying namaaz in ramadaam is it wrong to just do it then and no other time?

...Jazakallah... {am sorry if ive spelt it wrong]

  3. i am the exact same. muslim girlm 15, lived in UK 3/4 of my life and now seeing the errors in my ways. i never used to do namaz, although i had the fear and the desire. but im going to begin it properly. permanently.

    having a crush cannot be stopped. it is normal and allah accepts that but as long as you dont have dirty thoughts or feelings about that person or try to have a relationship, you will be ok. dont try to dress up or act silly to catch their attention

    No, you must do namaaz all the time. not just ramadan. that shows you are just taking advantage of the holy month and do not genuinely want to please allah. when u pray, pray that you become a better person. and rmb, ur only 13. thers time to learn. while its holidays, study islamic history and read hadith and qur'an.

    i hope i helped you :) god bless

    p.s. its nice to see ppl are really trying to help you

  5. This answer is directly for the girl.

    About doing those things we all have sins but we are not talking about them because Gad keeps every sin as a secret between himself and his servant , so please don't talk about your previous bad behaviors.

    For doing the 5 daily prayers it is not obligatory to be done in Ramadan but during your life (it is not difficult or hard but a little at first),God says in Quran:

    023.001 قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

    023.001 The believers must (eventually) win through,-

    023.002 الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلاتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ

    023.002 Those who humble themselves in their prayers;

    Al-Qur'an, 023.001-002 (Al-Mumenoon [The Believers])

    023.009 وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَى صَلَوَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ

    023.009 And who (strictly) guard their prayers;-

    Al-Qur'an, 023.009 (Al-Mumenoon [The Believers])

    we have five pillars in Islam:

    Faith or belief in the Oneness of God and the finality of the prophethood of Muhammad;

    # Establishment of the daily prayers;

    # Concern for and almsgiving to the needy;

    # Self-purification through fasting; and

    # The pilgrimage to Makkah for those who are able

    And this is the hadith :On the authority of Abu 'Abd al-Rahman 'Abdullah bin 'Umar bin al-Khattab, radiyallahu 'anhuma, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, say:

        "Islam has been built upon five things - on testifying that there is no god save Allah, and that Muhammad is His Messenger; on performing salah; on giving the zakah; on Hajj to the House; and on fasting during Ramadhan."

    [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

    When a female is on..,she is unclean and she has not to do the prayers,and reading Quran even in Ramadan.

    About the boyfriend you would better ask a scholar of Islam through the link for more information and proof.
