Question from someone who knows nothing about cars?

I really don't know much about cars, so I'm hoping to get some answers about a few things.

1. How much could you buy a 1953 sunbeam alpine for? On ebay I see one listed for 15,000. Is that a decent price? Cheap?

2. How much could you buy a 1957 Thunderbird for? For one that needs some work, what would be considered a fair price? What's the cheapest you could probably get one for?

Sorry these are kind of odd questions. Thanks in advance.

  1. There both going to be expensive. Look them up on NADA.com for some idea of there value. As much as I hate Fords,I would recommend it over the Sunbeam. The only reason being ease of getting parts and finding someone who can fix it.. British cars from that time period also have lots of electrical problem and finding someone who knows how to work on one will be really difficult and expensive.

  2. Ok! you are not going to find either one of them in the NADA:

They are both Classic Cars: The prices on Classic and antique cars vary widely depending on condition; amount already restored etc:

What you are going to need to do is go to classic cars on the e-net: Then start snooping:

I do know there are Thunderbird clubs and Corvette Clubs:

There are a lot of classic car clubs on the e-net that you can get that information from:
