  1. Zdravo! Ovde Sara. Ostavite poruku.

    This is in Serbian.

  2. hm.. it's not that it doesn't exist anymore. It never did. The offical language in ex-yugoslavia was serbo-croatian, but there were more languages spoken in it, like Macedonian and Slovenian.

"Chao, ovde (or "ovo") je Sara. Ostavi poruka."

Chao (like in Italian Ciao), ov(pronounced as "of")de (like "da" in "day) ye Sara. Os-ta-vee po-rou-ka

    in Macedonian that would be

"Zdravo, ovde e Sara. Ostavi poraka."

    Zdra-vo, ov (of)-de e(like "a" in "day") Sara. Os-ta-vee po-ra-ka.

    pozdrav (regards)

    p.s. lol I hope you'll menage ;o)

  3. When there was a Yugoslavia, its official language was Serbo-Croat.   Serbian and Croatian are essentailly the same language, just written in two different alphabets (Cyrillic and Roman, respectively).  I suspect that your mother's native language is Serbian, but I'll have to leave it to someone else to translate your message into that language.
