Question mark icon when i upload a file in yahoogroups?

I made a new group in yahoogroups and I uploaded a file in the files section. But instead of showing a microsoft word document icon it was a question mark. I tried other files but it was the same. What will I do?

When you went to Files, if you clicked on "Add Text File", only text files can be uploaded and that would give you the question mark because it did not recognize the Word document's .doc extension.

Try again but click on "Add File". That will recognize a Word document as long as your Word document is named with a .doc extension. Example:  How to eat a candy bar.doc
