Question of bringing my dog into the airplane(cabin).?

Please can someone awnsers these questions but no opinons or (I think) thank u!

WE (my family) in July is going to move to Dallas, Texas (America) from Nice (France). It is about 12 hour flight Nice to Frank fort (1 and half hour flight) and we have 1 hour break to reach the next gate. Then we have a (11 hour flight to Texas (Dallas)) WE will be taking Lufthansa Airlines. We will be riding buisness class. My dog is 9 months old he is a Yorkshire terrier.

1. Can i open the cage to place my dog on my lap?

2. How will i give water to my dog?

3. If he needs to pee will he do it in his cage?

4. A vet a prescribed us a medicine called Relazine C

it says for 3 days before the flight and the day on the flight feed the dog 1/2 a tablet 3 times a day. Is this safe?

5.Will the airport allow me bring treats into the airport?

6. Should i bring dog blanket for in case it gets cold?

7. Should i watch my dog the whole time in the airplane?

8. What happens after landing?

  1. Transport of pets while traveling with Lufthansa is possible with prior reservation and for a nominal fee. A limited number of animals are permitted on each flight. Only cats and dogs are permitted to travel in the passenger cabin. The maximum weight for the animal including the carrier is 18lbs/8kgs and may be a maximum of 55X40X20cm or 22x16x8in.
