Doing some research, want to know how many people feel that their kidneys have been adversley affected from the drinking of caffeinated drinks?

I am not talking about having to go to the potty every ten minutes either.

  1. I used to get kidney infections a lot when I was a teenager, till the doctor told me to lay off the caffeine. I started drinking water more, and haven't had one since.

I can take one cup of coffee or coke a day without feeling it, but I have to drink more water afterward. If not, I can feel the infection coming on. I rarely drink anything other than water or fruit juice.

My sister has the same story, only she drinks Sprite. She also still gets them occasionally.

  2. Ingestion of caffeine, especially in amounts exceeding 200 milligrams, can contribute to many psychological and physiological problems, Kidney infection,/  failure, and even kidney cancer all may be due to excessive caffeine intakes.
